Our History: Understanding the challenges you face
My name is Heather and having lived in France for over 20 years and being of English origin myself, I know first hand the complexities and challenges that French administration poses to foreigners. After helping many English speakers over the years, whether they live in France full-time or own a second home here, I have become very aware of the difficulties people face when navigating the French system.
As such, I created ELA in order to help expats with their administrative and linguistic needs, providing assistance in all forms to ease life and overcome the challenges faced by foreigners in France.
I have also created a blog on the website dedicated to bringing you news on current affairs in France and any information that may impact you as a foreigner in France that you may have missed.
